Sunday Mornings At The Branches
We take Jesus seriously—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
When you walk through the doors at The Branches, we hope you feel welcomed, not weirded out. We believe Jesus loves you more than you can imagine—and that kind of love changes everything.
What to Expect
The Branches is home to all kinds of people—families, singles, couples, empty nesters, retirees—you name it. You’re invited to come just as you are. Seriously. We have zero dress codes and lots of coffee.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a smile (and probably offered a cup of coffee or donut hole). We’re a laid-back bunch who loves Jesus deeply and wants you to feel at home from the start.
Our service kicks off with live worship led by our band, followed by a 20-minute message—usually from Pastor Alex. The messages are rooted in Scripture, approachable for newcomers, and challenging for long-time believers too. Sometimes we will wrap up our time together by taking communion, and everyone is welcome to participate.
Lyrics and Scripture are on the screens, so you can easily follow along. And if you’ve got kids (infant–5th grade), they’ll have a blast learning about Jesus in our Twigs classrooms designed just for them.
If you’re ready to take the next step, fill out a Connection Card, and one of our team members will reach out to partner with you on your faith journey.
At The Branches, kids are our first priority! You’ll check your kids in at the Twigs Registration table and be given a unique code for your family. You’ll use that code to check your children out at the end of the service. We have classrooms for Infants – 5th grade. The rooms are clean, safe, and staffed by volunteers who love instilling in kids how much Jesus loves them! We also have a youth group for 6th-12th graders called Roots. They meet on Sunday after church until 12:45pm.
Dress is generally very casual, but you’ll find everything from flip-flops and jeans to button-ups and skirts! Wear what makes you comfortable!
Totally get it—visiting a new church can be a little intimidating. That’s why we do our best to make your first visit as low-pressure as possible.
You won’t be asked to stand up or wear a name tag or do anything weird. Just show up, grab a coffee, sit wherever you’d like, and check things out at your own pace.
Whether you’re ready to jump in or just want to sit back and observe, you’re welcome here. No pressure. Just Jesus.
Where is The Branches?
We meet in the Richard A. Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center at 651 Vestal Rd, Plainfield, IN 46168.
Once you get parked, we will help you get where you need to go. The worship service takes place in the gym (basketball courts), and our children’s classes (Twigs) meet in the back hallway.
Our Vision
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
Going deeper with God to branch out and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31
Connect to God
To have a transforming connection with God. To experience salvation in Jesus.
Grow in Christ
To daily walk with Jesus and live out the life-giving teachings of Jesus.
Love others
God is love, so we are to walk in the ways of love. We are to love our families, friends, enemies, and strangers. When we love deeply, we will open our lives to be examples of Jesus to those around us.

Who We Are
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
The Branches is an exciting growing church in Hendricks County. We meet in a Rec Center and are active in the community and world. We are a church that desires to see Jesus intersect people’s lives and stories.
We would love for you to come and be part of this life-giving community. We hope that you will feel loved and be able to use the gifts that God has given you to serve Jesus. Seeing God’s name glorified more than our own is our desire. Although we are far from being a perfect church, we work hard to love deeply and to branch out with that love to others.

Where We Are Going
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthews 6:33
The Branches is a church seeking to bring heaven to earth in our community. To help people learn to live for Jesus to experience healing, peace, love, and wholeness. Our heart as a church is in our commitment to tell one more person about Jesus. We are a church that believes God is at work in your life and is transforming you into what you are called to be and become.
We would love for you to be part of this movement of God.
